Give. Thanks.

The nature of my employment allows me to talk to a lot of young people; some in a state of indecision, others with a steadfastness about what God has planned for them. Both groups of students are dealing with the same question, the question that even most adults wrestle with even still. What is the Will of God for my life?
The everyday answer and choices vary dependent on age and host of other factors. For instance, a husband, father and bread-winner is less likely to uproot the family and move to the mid-west in order to follow a felt Call on their life. That man is more likely to receive training in a local congregation, whereas a high school graduate may opt to do the exact opposite and leave their home church, with the blessing of the Pastor and attend a Bible college to get training. Neither one wrong, neither more noble than the other just different times of life affording different opportunities.
With all the variables and dependents in life one can easily lose focus on what Paul stated was the Will of God for our lives.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV)

Moral of the Story:
While the rest of the USA sets TODAY aside to be thankful, God says 'to be in MY will, you must give thanks.'
So be in the Will of God EVERYDAY and give thanks.
